In this type of reflection the parallel beam of incident rays on a smooth and polished reflecting surface get reflected in a particular direction. It causes glare and strains our eyes. It is used by cameras to create clear and sharp images
Irregular / Diffused reflection :
In this type of reflection the parallel beam of incident rays on a rough reflecting surface get reflected in all directions. It does not cause glare and doesn’t strain our eyes. It helps us see the world around us .
