Explain the difference between the peasants of Russia and the peasants of Europe

They didn't speak Russian. They didn't attend the Russian Orthodox Church (although the eastern European peasants would have attended one of the Eastern Orthodox churches, if they were Christian. There were plenty of Jews throughout Europe and Russia at that time [although the Tsars tried to end that], but not many other religions).
