Tropical deserts are within tropical latitudes 23.5 N and S,basically they are on the western margins of the continent like sahara ,west australian deserts etc. these deserts are hot deserts having extreme climatic conditions with bushes like vegetation and very low rainfall.
Temperate deserts are within subtropical latitudes characterised by dynamically induced high pressure ,they have grasslands with scattered trees basically they are like transition between tropical deserts and vegetation and the high latitude vegetation the conditions are not as extreme as tropical deserts.
