Xylem tissue-

1)A vascular tissue in plants which is responsible ffor transportation of water and minerals in plant.

2)It is responsible for transport of water and minerals.

3)Transportation of water and minerals through xylem is known as ascent of sap.

4)The flow is unidirectional in xylem that is upward direction.

5)It is made up of four types of cells out which three are dead and one is living.

Vessels,Tracheids,Xylem fibres-Dead cells

Xylem parenchyma-living cell

6)It is also known as Wood tissue.

Phloem tissue-

1)A vascular tissue responsible for transport of soluble food throughout the plant body.

2)It is responsible for the transport of soluble food.

3)Transportation of soluble peoducts of photosynthesis is called translocation.

4)The flow of food is both upward and downward direction in phloem .

5)It is made up of four types of cells out of which 3 are living and 1 is dead

Seive tubes,Companion cells,phloem parenchyma-living cells

phloem fibre-dead cells

6)It is also known as Bast tissue.

1
xylem transport water
and phloem transport food and mineral
xylem consist four points
1)xylem parenchyma
2)tracheids
3)vessels
4)xylem fiber
xylem parenchyma is living cell other is non living
water transport occur only in the upper direction it is a passive process
phloem
1) transport food and Minerals in offered in downward direction both are occur
it consists four type
1)first phloem fibres
2)phloem parenchyma
3) sevie tube
4)companion cell
only phloem fibres non living other are living
sry for wating
I hope!
