Explain the difference of the following sentences.
(a) he likes his sisters' friends and collagues.
He likes his sister,friend and collagues.
(b)After leaving school he went to sea.
After leaving the school he went to the sea.
(c)She stood up when he entered the room.
She was standing up when he entered the room.

a) s1 : He likes the friends and colleagues of his sister.

S2: He likes his sister and also her friends and colleagues.

b) S1: here since the statement says "he went to sea" , the person is not sure which sea he has went to.

S2: since there is " the sea" it can be said that the person is mentioning a particular sea.

c) s1: in this statement the person has already stood up when he entered the room.

S2: in this statement she was standing up when he was entering the room.
