thermoplastics--
1)change their shape easily on heating can be bent in any shape
2)formed by linear polymerisation hence flexible and can be remoulded
3)eg-PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and polyethene used for making combs,containers ,etc.
themosetting plastic---
1) do not change their shape easily
2)formed by cross polymerisation hence cannot be remoulded
3)eg-bakelite and melamine ,used for making electrical switches ,kitchenware,etc
