There are many aspects of live in which women are discriminated in India are:---

1- Education :- Boys have right to read until they want but girls have no choice of education.

2- Job :- It is believed that men can do any work but women can't.

3- Taking Desicion :- Men can take whatever of their own choice bt women haven't.

4- Chose their way to life:- Boys have choice to became whatever they want but girls have forced to marry .


There are also so many aspects are in India which helps in discrimination of women.....

Women are discriminated or disadvantaged in various ways :-

1) EDUCATION : The literacy rate of women is still lower than men. Only 54% of the women are literate against 76% among men. This is because a boy's education is still preferred over sending a girl child to school.

2) PROPORTION OF WOMEN IN PAID JOBS : Women still have a small share in the highly paid jobs. Even though on an average an Indian woman works one hour more than an average man every day, her work is not given importance. This results in low paid jobs for women.

3) PREFERENCE FOR A MALE CHILD : In India, parents prefer sons over daughters and find ways of aborting girl child. This abortion has led to decline in child sex ratio.

4) CRIME AGAINST WOMEN : There are various instances of crime against women. Women are exploited and harassed at the workplace and at the home. There are cases of domestic violence against women which make her unsafe even within her family.
