when male cells of a flower pollinate the female flower on the same or different plant of tha same species, this type of pollinationis called cross pollination
self pollination means some smaller part that r involved in the process of reproductive in plants. the male reproductive part r the stamen consists of some sac like structures at its head bearing small ball like structures. we can easily observe these structure called pollen with the help of hand lens. the pollen grains reach the female reproductive part and fertilization the egg to form a zhgote called as self pollination
