- Calyx : The calyx is the outermost whorl of the flower .
- Corolla: Corolla is composed of petals
- Androecium : Androecium is composed of stamens
- Gynoecium : It is the female reproductive part of flower.

- Calyx (or Sepals) : Calyx is the flowers outermost hold made up of sepals which are the outermost, green, leaf-like floral parts.
- Corolla (or Petals) : Immediately inside the calyx lies another whorl, Corolla consisting of brightly coloured units called petals. The petals are fixed on the thalamus at a level higher than the calyx.
- Androesium (or Stamen) : It is the male reproductive whorl of a flower and is composed of units called stamens. Each stamen has three parts filament, anther and connective.
- Gynoesium (or Carpel) : It is the female reproductive whorl of a flower and forms the innermost whorl. It is made up of units called carpels a carpel has three parts - Stigma, Style and Ovary.
