7 layer in OSI protocol architecture
1. Physical layer is interface between common channel and machine or system .
physical alyer ensure efficient data transmission between two machine or system device which operate on physical layer are repeaters , ethernet cables
2. Data link layer this layer apply error detection and error correction machanisms. it ensure that these should be no error while transmitting data. it also perform flow control and conjection control
3. Network layer perform routing algorithms and ensure shortest path for transmission of data to another system
4. Transport layer esure connection oriented or connection less transmission of data among different systems
5. Session layer perform accounting and session management of user activities
6. Presentation layer perform translation and presentation of data in a symmetric order
7. Application layer is responsible for deciding which app or prog is best suited for given data
