The CPU or Central Processing Unit can be called the Brain of a computer. There are different parts in CPU for different functions. Some of the parts are:

1. Motherboard: This is the part where all the other part such as RAM, Disk Drive, Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), the Processor and other things are attached. It is the part that supplies power to all other parts from.

2. Disk Drive: Hard disks are of two types: 1. Hard Disk Drives (HDD) and 2. Solid State Drives (SSD). The Solid state drives are newer as compared to hard disk drives. SSDs are 6 times faster than HDD. Disk Drives stores the data, such as the Operating System you are running, the files and programs, etc on your computer.

3. RAM: Random Access Memory is used to store temporary data which means that when you use your computer the work of RAM starts, unlike Disk drives which stores data permanently.

4. CMOS Battery: This battery is usually a flat-shaped battery. They reserve the date and time and other settings of your computer. If the charge of the battery gets down, you get a motherboard error when you will start a computer.

These are some of the important things inside a CPU, I don't want to make the answer lengthy, so I ended this answer short.

Hope you got an idea!
