- the structural difference is that they are capable of living in lesser amount of water. As a result of this most of such organisms have uric acid or urea as their method of excretion in in absence of any ammonia
- they are capable of living in the extreme of heat. Also their reproductive life cycle is different and they mainly rely on methods to protect their young ones and the babies from other terrestrial organisms which are predators
