• Co-relative connector
• Subordinating connector

1.Co-ordinating connector: The connectors that do work to join two independent sentence or two statements of equal rank or importance.

For examples:- and,both,also,not only,while,etc.

Example:- I opened my book and began to read.

2.Co-relative connector: The connectors that are used for the statement that are in pair.

For example:- both,not only,also, either-or,etc.

Example:- He is both lazy and dull

3.Subordinating connector: The connectors that joins subordinate or dependent classes to make principal clause.

For example:- after, before,since,than,etc.

Example:- He is not telling any lie, so far as I know.
