In statistical process monitoring, the {\bar {X}} and R chart is a type of scheme, popularly known as control chart, used to monitor the mean and range of a normally distributed variables simultaneously, when samples are collected at regular intervals from a business or industrial process.

An individuals and moving range (X-MR)chart is a pair of control charts for processes with a subgroup size of one. Used to determine if a process is stable and predictable, it creates a picture of how the system changes over time. The individual (X) chart displays individual measurements.

Xbar and Standard Deviation Chart.

Xbar and Standard Deviation ChartThe mean or average change in process over time from subgroup values. The control limits on the X-Bar brings the sample's mean and center into consideration. S-chart: The standard deviation of the process over the time from subgroups values.
