The different zones of a candle flame can be described as follows:

1. The innermost zone: The innermost zone is the zone which is formed just carbon around the wick of the candle flame as the candle burns. It is also known as dark zone of the flame. It consists of hot, unburnt vapours of the combustible material.

2. The the middle zone: thethe middle zone also known as luminous zone is the zone which is moderately hot with limited oxygen supply and the fuel vapour burns partially and produces carbon particles.

these particles in lead the flame as smoke and soot. this one is the major part of the flame the colour of this zone is yellow.

3. The outermost zone: The outermost zone also known as non luminous zone is the zone of complete combustion. The the ample presence of oxygen aids complete combustion. it it is the hottest zone off the candle.
