Partial digestion of the food takes place here. The churning action of the stomach muscles physically breaks down the food. The stomach releases acids and enzymes for the chemical breakdown of food. The enzyme pepsin is responsible for protein breakdown.

Digestion begins in the mouth with secretion of saliva. Food enters through oesophagus and is digested and absorbed here. It also send a some food to be digested in the small intestine. Blood carries oxigenated blood and digested food to different parts of the body to produce energy.Large intestine separates undigested food and excess water and is thrown out of the body through anus.

Pls pls mark as brainliest if helped.
