Human alimentary canal or digestive tract has the following parts

➡Mouth( ingestion)---It consists of teeth and tongue . There are four types of teeth incisors, molars , premolars and cannies . These bite and break the food .
Then the muscular projection tongue helps mix food with saliva.

➡oesophagus----the food pipe .food passes to the stomach through food pipe ( peristaltic moment)

➡stomach - A J shaped organ . Here other digestive enzymes are added and good is converted to a semi solid paste called Chyme.

➡Pancreas -- here enzymes like the pancreatic juice is added to the food

➡ Small intestine - site of complete digestion . Presence of villi increase the surface area for absorption .

➡ Large intestine -- here selective reabsorption of water and necessary particles take place .

➡ Anus-- waste is expelled out through Anus in the form of faeces
