black soil generally found in the mid southern part of India as these soil are rich in minerals such as iron , magnesium and almunium and are made volcanic rock and Lava flow these soil mostly in the following state of India Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh .

(ii)they cover the plateau of Maharashtra saurashtra Malwa Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
(iii) there are also found in Godavari and Krishna valleys.
