Explain the distribution of coal reserves in India.

India has abundant domestic reserves of coal most of these are in states Jharkhand,Odisha, West bengal, Bihar

Telangana and Madhya pradesh

on account of the growing needs of the steel industry,a thurst had to be given on systematic exploitation of cooking coal reserves in jharia coalfield
