Salinity decrease as one moves towards the tropics ,salinity is high at the coastal strip but reduces as you move towards the main land
The oceans have high salt content this is due to accumulation and build up as water in not discharged
During the day , evaporation takes place ,salt is introduced into the atmosphere hence high concentration ,thos is not the case with mainland .salinity is almost the same at the tropic of cancer and capricon
