There are two types of Deciduous forests that is Moist Deciduous and Dry Deciduous.
- In our India, The moist deciduous forest is distributed in West Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and foothills of Himalayas.
- In India, The dry deciduous forests is distributed in Bihar, plains of Uttar Pradesh.
- Moist deciduous forests are found in are also found in Andaman and Nicobar island.
- There are many where Dry deciduous forests are found. They are - central India Africa, Lesser Sundas, Indochina, Madagascar, New Caledonia, Brazil Caribbean and Mexico.
