It is the duty of the citizens to preserve the earth. The pollution happening in our environment can be reduced and renewable sources of energy can be used more. We can use solar panels for generating electricity in our houses. We can walk or ride bicycles for short distances. Using public transportation also helps since many people travel in the same vehicle. In this case the air will be less polluted than it will be when all of us use different vehicles for transportation. Basic actions, like throwing the waste in trash cans for the cleanliness of our environment can also be done.
