the movements started by Mahatma Gandhi in which took place of a mass movement are as follows

a. non cooperation movement of 1920 to 1922 this literally literally means that not to co-operate with the British government it was the result of the Khilafat movement and also it was the result of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre which took place in 1919 and it is turned the whole country it took a mass movement as all the sections of society to participate in 8 and even the children and women also take participation many schools and colleges were boycotted and children and women started picketing the shops selling the foreign goods

b. civil disobedience movement was a movement which was started by Mahatma Gandhi on 1930 1934 it was started by The Dandi March where Mahatma Gandhi mast from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi in the Gujarat state with the help of 72 followers and he broke down the salt law by making Salt from the sea water because at that time there was the Monopoly of British government on salt production also it was a mass movement and many children and women to participation in it and software picketed schools colleges and titles conferred to them were boycotted

c. Quit India Movement in 1942 Gandhiji gave a final blow to the British to leave India at an immediate cause
