If you wish to contribute to the Indian Education System then you must be EQUIPPED with the following:

Eligible criterion are different for different standards.

What I mean by that is;

If you want to teach the standards between 6th TO 10th standards then the requirements are as follow:

You must have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% marks with at least two subjects that are taught in schools.

You must have a B.Ed degree i.e Bachelors in Education with certain teaching subjects that you had in graduation and which are taught in schools.

If you want to teach students of 11th and 12th standards then you must possess:

A Bachelors degree

B.Ed Degree

A Masters Degree(with minimum 55% marks)in a subject you wish to teach.

Once you have the above two you are ELIGIBLE to teach in any school across India.

For lower standards:

From class 1st to 5th

You must go through a Junior Basic Teacher Training Program( JBT).
