We know that gas can be liquefied when we decrease temperature and increase pressure. Because when we decrease temperature the kinetic energy of the particles of state of matter gets reduced and when we give pressure on the particles they come more closer and changes its state, that depends on how much pressure you are applying.
So pressure changes the state of matter. Gas will be liquefied or solidified if we change pressure.
