If a saturated solution is heated, then it becomes unsaturated because the solubility of solute increases on heating.

If a saturated solution is cooled, then some of its dissolved solutes will separate out in the form of solid crystals.

Answer:

When you heat a saturated solution the molecules of liquid acquires more kinetic energy and move away from each other eventually creating more space for solute to dissolve hence solubility increases whereas on cooling molecules of liquid loses kinetic energy and come closer.

.On cooling a saturated solution, the kinetic energy decreases and thus the inter particle space is decreased which makes the particles visible so that the crystallization occurs. The effects of cooling is that the crystallisation will take place.
