Answer: Whenever you heat an object, its particles start to move and vibrate more vigorously .Thus when you heat an object, it either brakes, or even its state might change. The vibration of the particles makes the inter molecular force of attraction weak and the object changes its size or shape.
For e.g. When you heat an ice cube, it melts. This is because heating makes the molecules move faster which forces the particles to change the state or shape of the object.
Similarly, if you heat water, the particles of it vibrate vigorously and thus escape in the form of water vapour.
