endoplasmic reticulum (ER)

it is a large network of membrane bound tubes and sheets.there are two types of Endoplasmic Reticulum:-

• rough endoplasmic reticulum
• smooth endoplasmic reticulum

1. rough endoplasmic reticulum looks Rock because it has rhizomes on its surface which synthesizes protein.
2. smooth endoplasmic reticulum helps in the manufacture of fats and lipids.

proteins and lipids help in building the cell membrane called membrane biogenesis.

chromosomes :-

It contain the inheritance of characters from parents to their children in the form of DNA ( Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid) molecules. Chromosomes are composed of DNA and proteins.
