Epidermal tissue covers the uppermost part of dicot plants.
1)It includes the epidermal root hairs which are (unicellular) originate from maturation region of root.
2)It also includes trichomes which are hair like (multicellular) structure on stem which prevents water loss.
3) Stomata are also present on the epidermis of leaves which are helpful in transpiration(exchange of gases).
