HRM or just HR, is a strategic approach to an effective management of people within a particular organization so that they might help the business in the upcoming future to gain a competitive advantage.

It is designed in such a way as to maximize employee performance in the service of an employer's strategic objectives and is primarily very much concerned with the management of people in the particular organizations, focusing mainly on policies and on systems.

The departments and or branches of HR are genuinely responsible for overseeing employee-benefits design, training and development, performance appraisal, employee recruitment, and reward management, for example, managing pay and benefit systems.

Moreover, it also acknowledges the concerns itself with different organizational change as well as industrial relations i.e., the balancing of the organizational practices with requirements arising from the collective bargaining and further more, from governmental laws.

NOTE : Here, HRM or HR is referred to the Human Resource Management or just Human Resource.
