An ecosystem is a combination of both living and non-living things. All the things that do not grow, reproduce and utilisze energy from the environment. Some of the examples of non-living things are wind, rock, sunlight, etc. All the living things grow and reproduce. All animals, plants, microorganisms come under living things. All the living organisms are made up of cells. The non-living things do not possess genetic material called RNA and DNA which is a property that transfers character of parents to offspring.
