here is ur answer....
Carbon dioxide accumulates in high concentrations inside the cell. In the cells external environment, the concentration of Carbon-dioxide is low as compared to that inside the cell. So the Carbon-dioxide moves out of the cell from the region of higher concentration towards the lower concentration i.e. outside the cell and the oxygen enters the cell by the process of diffusion.

Diffusion is the movement of particles from the region of higher concentration toward the region of lower concentration.
This too happens in the case of Oxygen and Carbon dioxide.
