Heya!!

• Excretion is the process of elimination of wastes produced within a body.

• Our blood contains both useful and harmful substances by reabsorption and toxic substances by forming urine.

• To purify our blood we have Human excretory system. This is a mechanism to filter our blood.

• This is done by the blood capillaries in our kidneys.

• All the needful substances will be absorbed back into the body and the waste materials will be converted into urine. Urine thus formed will be passed to the urinary bladder via ureter. Through the urinary opening at urethra, urine is excreted.

• If these waste materials will be there in our blood, they will start accumulating in the blood. And a body can't survive until the blood is filtered periodically.

Hope it helps!!

Heya,
Friend,

● EXCREATORY SYSTEM.....

Excretory system consists of organs and tissues participating in the removal of waste products. "IT INCLUDES MAINLY THE URINARY SYSTEM" .

The process of removal of toxic wastes from the body of living organism is known as excreation.

●EXCREATION......

The excretory system in human beings includes a pair of kidneys, a pair of ureters, a urinary bladder and urethra...

• KIDNEYS....

Kidneys are located in the abdomen, one on either side of the backbone. These are partially protected by the 11th and 12th pair of ribs. The right kidney is positioned slightly lower then the left kidney.....

NOTE......
NEPHRONS ARE THE FUNCTIONAL UNIT OF KIDNEY.... Each kidney has approximately 1.2 million Nephrons.

• URETER

The ureters arise from within the renal sinus of the kidneys at hilus. The uppermost dilated part of the ureter Is called renal pelvis. The ureter carries urine to the urinary bladder.

• URINARY BLADDER

The urinary bladder is a triangular muscular Sac, situated in the middle of the pelvic cavity of the abdomen. It collects the urine excreted by the kidneys before disposal by urination.

The urinary bladder is lined by specialized muscles which can stretch considerably without getting torn when the bladder is with urine.

URETHRA

It is a menbranous tube, which runs down from the lower end of the urinary bladder to conduct urine to exterior. The urethra has muscular urethral sphincters which keep it closed except during the discharge of urine.

Hope this will help you!!
