Agriculture have played a very big role in expansion of towns and its growth.Staring with, agriculture as lead to the need to build markets where people meet to sell their firm products so as to realize the importance of doing farming.

Also agriculture as lead to increased populations,in certain places where agriculture is doing well people are highly populated leading to rise of towns.Slowly people will start trading. which after sometime it will lead to competition hence growth of towns.
