1. Aim of the experiment : To show AMMONIUM CHLORIDE undergoes sublimation.

2. Apparatus required : Cotton plug, china dish, funnel and burner.

3. Procedure : * Take some ammonium chloride crush it and put in china dish.* Put an inverted funnel in the china dish.* Put the cotton plug on the stem of the funnel.* Heat slowly  and you need to observe.

4. Observation : A change of state of directly from solid to gas without changing into liquid state is called sublimation.
