• Altitude: As we go up, crossing every 166 m from the ground, 1°C Celsius decreases.

• Latitudes: Latitudes divide the earth into three different climatic zones:

- Tropical zone

- Temperate zone

- Frigid zone

• Himalayas: The himalayas acts as a barrier, restricting cold siberian winds which would make India a dry land, and makes South-West monsoon to shed its moisture inside India, making Tibet a dry land because its on the leeward side.
