The factors which effect climate of India are :-
#Altitude- The Himalayan mountains to the north of India have an average height of 6000 metres and prevent the cold dry winds from Central Asia from entering the subcontinent.
#Latitude- The part of the country that lies to the south of the Tropic of Cancer experiences tropical climate while the part to the north of this line experiences sub-tropical climate.
#Distance from the sea- The coastal regions experience moderate climate compared to areas in the interior that experience a larger range of temperature.
