the factors that have resulted in the degradation of land are:
1. deforestation
deforestation causes the soil to loose up because the trees hold the soil firmly in the ground but when we cut them they are unable to do so which leads to soil erosion.
2. using polythene or poly bags
using poly bags are a great soil pollutants since they do not decompose and remain in their place for thousands of years that degrades the quality of soil
3. using chemical fertilizers
using chemical fertilizers harm the quality of soil in long use because these fertilizers are man made or artificial and thus the soil gets polluted
