1. Specificity :- Acquired Immunity is specific micro-organism

2. Diversity :- This system recognise the baat variety kf micro-organism

3. Discrimination between self and non-self :-

It can recognise self (body or tissue) and non self (foreign tissue) and respond according to them

4. Memory :-

When a pathogen enter inside the body takes longer time to recognise and respond to it this is called primary immune response.

Characteristics of Acquired Immunity:

\bf{\huge{\mathfrak{\boxed{\red{(i) Specificity:\:}}}}}

It is the ability to differentiate between various foreign molecules (foreign antigens).

\bf{\huge{\mathfrak{\boxed{\red{(ii) Diversity:\:}}}}}

It can recognise a vast variety of foreign molecules (foreign antigens).

\bf{\huge{\mathfrak{\boxed{\red{(iii) Discrimination between Self and Non-self:\:}}}}}

It can recognise and respond to foreign molecules (non-self) and can avoid response to those molecules that are present within the body (self) of the animal.

\bf{\huge{\mathfrak{\boxed{\red{(iv) Memory:\:}}}}}

When the immune system encounters a specific foreign agent, (e.g., a microbe) for the first time, it generates immune response and eliminates the invader.
