1.in a federal form of government power is divided amongst governments at diffrent levels
2.each government has powers in matters of thier seprate juristiction ( which has been specified in the constitution )
3.no form of government can order the other form or intervene in its juristiction
4.in case of disputes between any level of goverment supreme court acts as a mediator or umpire and settles the dispute between them
5.federal forms of government are ideal examples of power sharing at its best
