As is pretty obvious, Windows 7 is the version 7.0 of Windows. It came out 8–10 yrs. back. It came out with many useful features - I personally never thought that Microsoft could actually think so much about it’s users, it was quite decent.

Windows is an OS (Operating System) which helps in running a PC/Laptop. The PC is useless without an OS. It has all the hardware but doesn’t know what to do with it.

All other apps/software run on the environment created by the OS.

With time vendors bring new, useful features into all gadgets. Same with Windows. The latest version of Windows is 10.

Over the yrs. Windows has gotten better. With more intuitive & useful things.
