Answer:

In India there are many types of soil like -alluvial soil, laterite soul, sandy soil, black soil, red soil, mountain soil.

Explanation:

alluvial soil-it is very fertile and found in northern and coastal plains.

black soil- also known as lava soil. it is suitable for cotton and sugarcane.

red soil- it cannot retain moisture,to make it fertile farmers have to add fertilizer.

laterite soil - it is also not fertile because of leaching.

mountain soil - it is rich in humus as it is made of dead organic matter
