1)-Leptotene ===also called thin thread stage.
=Volume of nucleus increses.
=Formation of astet .

2)-Zygotene-===also called yoked thread stage
=Pairing of homologous chromosomes to form bivalents .
=Futher condesation of chromosomes and moving away of asters .

3)-Pachytene=also called thick thread stage ..
=exchang of genes or crossing over bitween two non-sisters chromosomes of homologus chromosomes occurs at the point

4)-Diplotene=also called dpuble thread stage
=Nucler membrane nd nuckeoli starts disappearing ....

5)-Diakinesis =terminalisation is completed.
=formation of spindle...
