Heart is the muscular organ pumping oxygenated blood throughout the body and brings deoxygenated blood from the body back to heart to be oxygenated in the lungs.
Blood coming back from the body parts enters the right atrium then passes into the right ventricle. It is then pumped into the pulmonary artery leading to lungs to oxygenate blood. Once the blood is oxygenated it enters the left atrium through the pulmonary veins. It then flows into the left ventricle to be pumped out throughout the body through the aorta.
