Blood enters tge heart through two large veins , the inferior and superior vena cava , emptying oxygen_poor blood from the body into the right atrium . As the atrium contracts, blood flows from your right atrium into your right ventricle through the open tricuspid valve .

the heart has different chambers to prevent the oxygen rich blood and deoygenated blood blood to mix . the oxygen rich blood is transported through aorta to all tissues .the oxygenated blood enters to heart through left atrium through pulmonary veins and when left atrium contracts the blood goes to left ventricle and when left ventricle contracts the blood is sent to to cells of body through aorta flowing through arties with pressure
