RESISTORS IN PARALLELS: resistors are in parallel if their terminals are connected to same two nodes. The equivalent overall resistance is smaller than the smallest parallel resistor.

RESISTORS IN SERIES: resistors are said to be connected in series when they are daisy chained together in a single line resulting in a common current flowing through them
