Answer:

Question:-

Find y from the given figure

Given:-

angle SRP exterior= 135

angle PRQ =55°

angle SPQ=90° (perpendicular)

Solution:-

From the figure

SRP+SRP's exterior angle=180°(adjacent angles)

SRP+135=180°

SRP=180-135

SRP=45°

we don't know SPR,as it's given perpendicular,but it's cut through the angle.

also Given

QR is a perpendicular,that is 90°

that is angle PQR=90°

PQR+QRP+RPQ=180°(sum of all interior angles of a triangle are supplementary)

90+55+RPQ=180

145+RPQ=180

RPQ=180-145

RPQ=35°

therefore we've got angle RPQ=35°

RPQ+SPR=90°(perpendicular)

35+SPR=90

SPR=90-35

SPR=55°

and now

SPR+PRS+RSP=180°(sum of all interior angles of a triangle are supplementary)

55+45+y=180

100+y=180

y=180-100

y=80°

hope it helps
