a). When bee stings it injects acid, which harms our skin.
So to make that acid to neutral we add basic lotion calamine.

b).When we do not eat for a long time , the HCl acid content is increased in stomach and damages walls of the stomach. So to make acid less we use mild base called milk of magnesia or magnesium hydroxide , which is a antacid.
