Explanation:

a.) pointer- It is also known as cursor or mouse arrow, or mouse pointer, is a graphical image that is used to activate or control certain elements in a graphical user interface. More plainly, it indicates where your mouse should perform its next action, such as opening a program, or dragging a file to another location. The mouse pointer follows the path of the user's hand as they move their mouse.

b.) Click- Click is a term used to describe the action of pressing a mouse button (usually the left mouse button, if the mouse has two buttons) one or more times. Depending on the computer you are using or the software program you're in changes the action performed when clicking the mouse button.
