The pressure at higher altitudes is comparatively less, so to equalize the pressure difference ink starts moving out from the pen which has a relatively high pressure.

The atmospheric pressure at the top of the hill is less that that at sea level. ... While coming down from a hill, the pressure at the bottom is high compared to the pressure inside the ear. This change in pressure causes a momentary hearing problem or ear pain.

With increasing altitude the air pressure decreases, this disturbs the internal and external pressure balance. This disturbance causes the internal body pressure to be more than the outside air pressure. So, as a result of that nose starts to bleed, but this doesn't happen all the time.
